Mr. Snuffleupagus wasn't on drugs… he was CREATED by Big Bird's habits. Think about it. There's a 4 foot tall fuzzy brown elephant that only you could see? (Originally, Snuffy "had to be somewhere" every time any body else was about to show up.) Big Bird was either completely insane or there were some shrooms in his bird seed.

Shaggy is a hands down drug user. Think about it they like in a hippy van, he talks to his dog, never cuts his hair, and eats dog food. Not to mention he’s always paranoid and skinny as crap even though he ALWAYS has the munchies.

HR Pufnstuf was actually based around marijuana, though the creators themselves weren't didn't indulge in the glorious green. Took somethin like 35 years for them to finally admit the references. The name itself stood for Hand Rolled Puffing Stuff…hmm, now I wonder what they were hinting at….;D
