14-year-old caught selling weed at middle school

A 14-year-old was arrested for selling marijuana at a middle school after a parent tipped off administrators that she’d found a text message offer to sell her child weed. (Anyone who’s anyone knows not to discuss drug deals over cell phones and DEFINITELY not to put it in writing! C’mon!) The school administration then identified four other students who bought weed from the boy last week; one of whom was arrested for possession.
The 14-year old admitted to selling the drugs to other students and said he found the drugs on the ground and just wanted to get rid of them. (Seriously, that’s the best story he could come up with? Well, he’s still young…) Police collected about 3 grams of weed (SO not worth getting arrested for). The 14-year-old was booked and could face felony possession with intent to distribute (which is so over-the-top ridiculous to do to a 14-year-old over 3 measly grams of pot).

further proof that if it were legalized/decriminalized, this wouldnt be a problem. He didnt get caught selling a fifth of vodka now did he? Take the excitement out of it so all the responsible adults can enjoy it/ medicate themselves.
