Jimmy Rollins was award the National League MVP award. He just beat out Colorado Rockies’ Matt Holliday. The voting was very close with Rollins beating out Holliday by only 17 points, the closest vote since 1991. The break was, Rollins listed first on 16 ballots, second on seven, third on four, fourth on four and fifth on one for a total of 353 points. Holliday’s had 11 first-place votes, 18 seconds, one third, one fourth and one sixth for 336 points.
Broncos tie the Chargers for the AFC west lead
The Broncos defeated the Titans on Monday night football last night 34-20. It was a battle between two quarterbacks that were taken in the first round of the 2006 NFL draft.
Congratulations to Alex Rodriguez for winning his third MVP award today. Alex Rodriguez had one of the best seasons in the history of baseball. This year he hit .314, with 156 RBIs and 56 home runs. He was walked 95 times and he stole 24 bases. His slugging pct. was also .645. A career high.
Lloyd Card announced today that he was retiring as Michigans head football coach. It was a rough season which saw the Wolverines lose to Appalachian State and yet another defeat by Ohio State.
The Patriots are an evil that cannot be stopped right now. Last night they beat the Bill 56-10. Ridiculous. Tom Brady had five touchdown passes, four of them going to Randy Moss. The Patriots become the 10th team since 1970 to start out 10-0.

Congrats to Martin Brodeur. Last night he became the second goal tender to reach the 500 win mark in his career as the New Jersey Devils beat down the Philadelphia Flyers 6-2. It was Brodeur’s fourth attempt at it but he was able to pull it off last night.
Going into week 11 of the 2007 NFL season we’ve had a lot of surprises. Who would’ve thought that the Packers and the Lions would be leading the NFC north?? Who saw the Browns coming?? What happened to the Bears, Jets and LoL, the Colts?? They have lost two in a row for the first time in who knows how long.
