Another one from our old friend Chris Berman
These Chris Berman videos are hilarious and I guess since football season is over, this is the closest the blogosphere is going to come to having anything football related. Oh well, this will do for now.

Since January 1st, the Dallas Stars power play has been pathetic. I could’ve scored more goals than them. They’re power play has gone 9-78 in that time frame but you wouldn’t have known it the way they played last night against the Blues.
Brenden Morrow, Mike Ribeiro and Jere Lehtinen all scored power-play goals. It probably helped though that St. Louis’ goaltending was very suspect. Either way, those goals powered the Stars to a 6-2 win over the blues and extended their winning streak to six games.
So Nascar is back… Not that anyone cares but it is anyway. Looks like Tony Stewart is back to his old bad boy ways as well. The sports most selfish, immature driver is also one of the best and is also a big reason why the sport is so popular. During practice for the first race of the season, the Bud Shootout, Stewart hit Busch from behind, sending him into the wall. Busch came around the track and rammed the right side of Stewart’s car three times on pit road. Afterwards, it looked like Tony Stewart wanted to get out of the car and scrap but that didn’t happen.
So the Warriors pulled out a close game with some fourth quarter heroics. No it wasn’t from Baron Davis. No it wasn’t Stephen Jackson. It wasn’t even Andris Biedrins. Monta Ellis took over in fourth quarter to lead the Warriors past the Northern California rivals the Sacremento Kings 105-102.
Ellis scored 16 of his 34 points when it counted the most, in the fourth. It’s a good thing that he did because the Warriors normal heroes Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson weren’t able to save the day in this one. Baron Davis got into foul trouble and wasn’t ever really able to get it going, eventually fouling out of the game. Stephen Jackson twisted his ankle and was hobbling around for most of the game.
More and more of these Chris Berman meltdown videos are being leaked onto youtube and aren’t we all happy about it? LoL!! Here are a few more videos like this one uncovered last week.
In last nights close game with the Sonics against the Suns, Wally Szczerbiak took the ball out of bounds, found no one open, and called timeout. The only problem was that his team had no timeouts left… Ooops. This mistake ended up costing his team the game.
Dwight Howard and Jamario Moon went at it to get the Slam Dunk Championship but in the end Jamario Moon ended up with it. Some, like myself, feel that Dwight was robbed. He shoulda gotten way more points for the dunk where he put the sticker on the backboard. It is what it is though.
The southeastern division is going to be a dogfight all the way until the end of the season. Last night the Hurricanes topped the Capitals 2-1 to reclaim first place in the Southeastern division.
The Canes played like their season depended on it and in order to come out on top of that division, we are going to needed to see efforts like this out of them night in and night out.
Allen Iverson admitted that this was one of his easiest games ever. “I was out there watching,” Iverson said after the Nuggets beat the Wizards last night 111-100 last night.
He had Carmelo Anthony to thank for the night off. Carmelo took his team on his shoulders last night and was all over the Wizards in the process. He finished the game with 49 points and he left the Wizards Coach Eddie Jordan so frustrated that he decided to double and triple team him in the final minutes of the game.
Houston didn’t really need their all star guard Tracy McGrady last night to win. It’s a good thing too because not long after the game, T-Mac was resting drinking some chicken noodle soup. They handled the Cavs 92-77 last night.
The sick and sluggish McGrady only scored 8 points on 3-11 shooting. Yao Ming and Rafer Alston picked up the slack for him though. Yao finished with 22 points and 12 boards and Rafer had 17 points and 9 assists.
