2012 just ended a few days ago. It will never come back again in history. If you really think about it, everyday is like that but we don’t seem to take it seriously on a day to day basis. Only when our imaginary calendar changes years. I was 28 in 2012 and this was definitely the most eye opening year of my life thusfar.
The year started out with the HMJ team attending one of our first major events, Smokeout Festival in Los Angeles. Amazing event and it became the prelude to an impending move to Los Angeles. After Smokeout we had people from our team at many events including Paid Dues, The Cannabis Cup in Denver, the Boston Freedom rally, the Roots picnic, and Rock the Bells in three different locations and many more. This year we already have events booked through April and it is all moving at a rapid but amazing pace.
One of the most rewarding things about being a blogger is getting free stuff so when you are able to give away free stuff it is an even better and more amazing feeling. We ran many contests this year including Christmas and Thanksgiving contests, social media contests, as well as tickets to event after event. Look out for many more contests and free stuff from us in 2013
Recently, me and a few other members of the team got a home to move and work out of in the beautiful city of Los Angeles. We had been planning it ever since we made our trip to Los Angeles in the beginning of 2011. I will be writing much more about this over the next few weeks and over the course of time as this will be an amazing experience.
HMJ had many ups and downs in this time but one of the biggest things I learned this year was that you have to be able to love and rely on yourself. If you cannot then any relationship you have is doomed.

This year the HMJ team has changed and evolved drastically from the way the team looked at this time last year, I had the opportunity to get lots of free things and attend a lot of events, and most importantly I am now back invested in working on building HMJ 100%. I will wear many hats on HMJ but my dedication will not waver.
I am super excited about what 2013 will bring for HMJ and its fans & followers. We will make sure to be a top stoner resource for information and fun shit. Enjoy the ride!
