The Marijuana Policy Project (MPP) is an organization that was formed in 1995 with goals of reforming marijuana laws and helping to change the negative public perception of Marijuana use.  Everyone who is a regular smoker and proud of it, should support groups like this and groups like NORML who are working to see to it that you will be able to smoke without being arrested.  You can help out the MPP by making a donation here.

Besides lobbying for legislation to allow seriously ill patients to use medical marijuana with their doctors’ recommendations and attracting lots of mainstream media attention to the failed prohibition issue, the MPP also has a very popular youtube channel where they show various informative videos.  One feature that I particularly like is the “Two Minute Truth” videos hosted by the lovely Nydia Swaby.  These videos address lots of the common questions and misconceptions around marijuana, it’s history and it’s use.

Arm yourself with knowledge people. After watching these, you might just be able to intelligently argue with your parents FOR your regular weed consumption.  If you can remember anything you see in the videos that is.

Is Weed A Gateway Drug?

The Real Cost Of Marijuana

Is Marijuana Addictive?

Does Marijuana Use Cause Lung Cancer?

The Truth About Marijuana Rehab

Does Marijuana Affect Brain Performance?

How Can I Help End The War On Marijuana Use?

More info on MPP and how to submit a video for Two Minute Truth consideration.

Everyone should join the fight. If you are not out there marching or protesting because you are too stoned and you want to make a trip to the fridge, that’s fine. At least check out these videos so you have more knowledge about the plant and what exactly you are putting in your body.
