82-Year-Old Man Safeguards His Stash With Shotgun

No matter how much your buds mean to you I doubt that there are many Greenies who would go as far as Raymond Faehr when it comes to keeping your stash secure. In Kentucky over in Pulaski County a man, now identified as Matt Anderson, was found shot in the front yard of the house next to the one he planned on burglarizing. His intended goal was to get into the marijuana garden of Faehr, an 82-year-old and apparent shotgun aficionado. When police were alerted, the sheriff wasted no time arriving at the crime scene as this whole ordeal took place across the street from his own house.

Many local residents were shocked to learn that Faehr had 16 plants growing outside in his backyard after being known for being outspoken against drugs but I’m sure they would be more surprised to learn that in 1995 he spent 5 years in jail for…wait for it…a marijuana cultivation charge. Even though Faehr hadn’t killed the man, he is being charged with 1st Degree Assault and Cultivating Marijuana in the 2nd Degree. Lesson learned: don’t come between a man and his stash.
