Bronx High Schooler Andre Davidson dies during basketball game

Very sad news comes out of the Bronx, New York today. Over the weekend, 18 year old Andre Davidson died during a hoops game. It was very mysterious because he had just finished hitting a layup and then he reportedly collapsed. He was taken to the hospital where he was announced dead shortly after.
From the New York Daily News:
Andre Davidson, a starting small forward at John F. Kennedy High School, dropped to the hardwood after making a layup during a game at St. Mary’s gym in the South Bronx on Saturday afternoon.
Davidson, 18, was taken to nearby Lincoln Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead shortly after he arrived about 4p.m.
Our condolences go out to the family.
