Colorado is debating the issue of medical marijuana and whether users can be fired for using the drug, even if they have a prescription. How that’s even possible, is beyond me. If it’s legal, then what would the grounds for termination be? California and Montana have ruled that employers do have such a right. Colorado doesn’t protect patients if they light up at work, (wait, they light up at work?) but it has still not been determined if that applies to a user partaking of the drug at home. What do you guys think about this issue?
