Chris Simms Denies Plea Bargin

In a Blunted Blunder Tennessee Titans quarterback Chris Simms turned down a plea offered by prosecutors in Manhattan in court Friday. The penalties that came with the deal were a $500 fine, 90-day drivers license suspension, and five days of community service. Simms, if you remember, was charged with a driving under the influence misdemeanor in his Mercedes on W. Houston back in July when he told officers he took “4 puffs of marijuana” earlier and did not have any on him at the time of the stop.

I’m not quite sure what he is hoping for with denying the offer and going to court where he faces a lot worse penalties but we’ll bring you the news after the trial.
