Lots of people have asked me about the background picture on my twitter page. It is from the international film City Of God. It is one of my favorite movies of all time and arguably the most gangsta movie ever. It’s got subtitles and usually I don’t have the patience for something like that but this movie is worth it. Here is the IMDB description…

Brazil, 1960′s, City of God. The Tender Trio robs motels and gas trucks. Younger kids watch and learn well…too well. 1970′s: Li’l Zé has prospered very well and owns the city. He causes violence and fear as he wipes out rival gangs without mercy. His best friend Bené is the only one to keep him on the good side of sanity. Rocket has watched these two gain power for years, and he wants no part of it. Yet he keeps getting swept up in the madness. All he wants to do is take pictures. 1980′s: Things are out of control between the last two remaining gangs…will it ever end? Welcome to the City of God.

So my plan was to make this a “Top 10 scenes from City Of God” post or something but when I searched on youtube, I found the whole movie on there, so I decided to just post the whole thing. I’m not sure how legal this is but I figure if they need to take it down, they will go to youtube before they come to me.

Enjoy it while it lasts and I know it’s in a lot of videos but TRUST ME, it’s worth it.
