Colorado To Vote On “The Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act of 2012”

Plus 1 for Colorado and the supporters for getting almost double the amount of signatures needed to get the Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol Act of 2012 on the ballot. They needed 86,105 and got just about double that amount but about 80,000 were rejected. I wonder why? Much like California’s Prop 19, that unfortunately didn’t go through, you will have to be 21 to purchase marijuana. You would be allowed to possess up to one ounce of marijuana and have six marijuana plants growing. Washington state also has the same type of act on the ballot this year. What do you think the chances are that we will have two states where you can legally possess up to an ounce of marijuana? Checkout the full act here.
