Ex-NBA player Cuttino Mobley choose an interesting post-NBA career to say the least. Most professional athletes retire and usually become a coach or a sports analyst but Cuttino Mobley wants to open up a dispensary. Rhode Island legalized medicinal marijuana for chronic pain back in 2009, Mobley is one of the 18 applicants interested in opening a dispensary in Rhode Island. The state will choose 3 of the 18 to be licensed to sell medical marijuana.
“You get it after a while,” Mobley said. “You know what you’re supposed to do.” One of the things he wants to do now is start a wellness center in Warwick, one that will be allowed to dispense medical marijuana. He says he got interested in the field of wellness both through his own medical condition and those of other people close to him, and adds that the health field is one of the fastest growing in the country.
You know, I wouldn’t mind paying Cuttino’s “wellness” center a visit. I do love his choice of words, I mean I do feel my wellness is at it’s peak when I’m stoned. Check out the full story here.
