Daily Joint – Aquemini

Artist: Outkast
Album: Aquemini (released 1998)
Produced by: Organized Noise Productions

One of my favorite songs from my favorite Hip Hop group. People (rather the people I talk to) always under rate Outkast, but if you just peep their earlier stuff you’ll find there’s volumes of tracks that go deeper than “Hey Ya!” and other radio hits. Their earlier albums always touched on controversial and social topics such as problems within the black community, and how we treat one another in society. The heavy bassline is hypnotizing, and how Dre and Big Boi just ride the beat so relaxed blends it together perfectly. This entire album is amazing, my second favorite album behind ATLiens.
