So.. there’s this emcee I don’t know if you’ve heard of him, Mos Def? I heard he’s a pretty sick underground rapper. Then there’s this producer, you might have heard of him as well, Madlib. I heard he was a sick underground producer. Then there’s this other rapper, he’s some sort of a legend I heard. Slick Rick is it? Well they’re all on the same track together and it’s dope as hell. Madlib samples his own instrumental from “Beat Konducta Vol. 3-4 At the Movies” and while the instruments sound foreign, the music is all funk. That other kind of funk. The kind you keep bottled up airtight and when you open it you get blessed by its essence. yeeaah.
