We heard nothing new from the Governor of New Jersey this week.
The Republican governor has long been opposed to legalizing recreational marijuana in New Jersey. But a resident who called into Christie's monthly radio show argued that legal pot is inevitable and could lead to more tax revenue and even more jobs for the state.
"Let me just stop you right there," Christie said on 101.5-FM. "You say it's going to come down the road. You know when it may come down the road? When I'm gone."

What can you do to change and convince a not-thoughtful attitude that channels the shade of Harry J. Anslinger? Probably not a damn thing. That attitude is what we are up against now that the tide has turned. They will be the last of the prohibitionists. They are in important positions at the moment but there are more of us then them, finally.
While growing up Governor Christie never heard a word of truth about cannabis from any authority figure in his world. He has yet to realize that simple truth, understand his ignorance on the issue of cannabis, and go in search of the truth for himself. He still can, but I doubt he will. He's decided the sky is red and sees no reason to look out the window.
Most people become fascinated by the true story of what happened to the cannabis plant. I wonder if the Governor would be open to hearing some history, all of which he can verify for himself? From the point of view of a person, such as myself, who favors re-legalization of cannabis, Governor Christie sure seems like a bad choice for our next President.
What do you think?
