We reach the place where the flowers are starting to fill in. Some plants begin to express a fragrance, or a stink, about now.
When things seem to be chugging along nicely — stay aware. A sudden change in outdoor temperatures may impact your plants. Drier air may dry out the plants requiring more frequent watering. Lots of stuff can happen. Visit your garden often and catch problems early.
THIS WEEK’S CHEAP TRICK: Use a “tap stick.” It’s a simple piece of bamboo, weighs next to nothing, costs about the same. Once or twice a day, use the tap stick to firmly (but with no real violence) tap and shake the stems and brances of each of your vegetative plants. GodSkool teaches that manipulation of the plants should happen in the veg phase.
Happy grower, keep in mind that you are mother nature. In the wild stong wind shakes plants; animals push them aside and step on them. Sudden temperature changes can and do happen. Plants in the wild get stronger because of this stress. The tap stick is part of the stress that makes plants flourish.
Thanks to everyone whose videos were used this week. Thank you for preparing to home grow once re-legalization is the law. Come back next week and we’ll talk more about becoming self-sufficient in cannabis. Nice thought.
