When you grow indoors under lights you assume the job of Mother Nature. That’s a big challenge. Problems seldom show up in isolation. Learn to see problems as markers on what you know and understand. When problems show up don’t get mad or discouraged — get educated.
As a new grower be aware that problems may be well developed before you even notice them. Keep your efforts going and allow your understanding to get broader and deeper. With experience you will start catching problems as they emerge and before a lot of damage has been done. Remember, the better job you do providing the environment your plants desire the fewer problems will emerge.
Get smug, think you have this, and — BOOM — lose a whole crop. It happens to every grower and is a real shocker.
Don’t give up. Don’t quit. Just like your new plants — reach for the light. PROBLEMS MEAN YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG! Is the room too hot? Are you not watering correctly? Did you bring bugs in on your clothes? Analyze what is wrong then research that problem. Thank the Goddess for the internet. Help is only a few keystrokes away.
Thanks to our video producers, and thank you for showing up for class. Can somebody bring enough for the whole class next week? We send the plants into flower, soon. Just a few more topics and we will be there.
Enjoy your weeked.
