Guide To Guerilla Growing Cannabis Outdoors

Growing your own is becoming a bigger and bigger trend in the cannabis industry. People are learning more about the plant than they ever have. Make sure you load up on your best cannabis seeds and get growing!

Choosing The Best Location Is Essential

Guerilla growing is a term coined in the early 1970’s that requires strategy, time and personal physical stamina to do. Depending on the location and local laws, guerilla growing might be your only choice in growing cannabis.

The location and security of your outdoor guerilla grow should be your number #1 concern when considering where you want to grow your outdoor garden.

Cannabis cultivators who choose to do a guerilla grow typically will find remote locations where there is a low number of people who are wandering around outdoors.

You will want to be sure to check the local hunting, fishing, and outdoor recreation laws so you are more informed where it would be an ideal location to grow at.

For example, if you choose an area where mushroomers who go exploring to find them, then you will definitely want to find a place where they would wouldn’t accidently stumble across your garden.

When choosing a location for your guerilla grow, you will want to make sure there is lush vegatation that will help you to hide your outdoor cannabis garden. If you choose areas that have thorn bushes and other ideal plant life then this will help to keep people and animals away so they don’t find out about your secret.

It is essential for you to find a great location near water since you will need to develop a method to supply water to your garden. If you choose an area that is dry then chances are that your cannabis plants can die off early in the growing season, in addition you garden then would be exposed and open to prying eyes.

Once you have selected a location for your cannabis garden, you will need to prepare the soil and bring in all of the tools and nutrition that is needed for your plants. Before you do this, you should try to prepare the area about six months before you plant your garden so you don’t raise suspicion when you are planting.

Preparing the area includes: trimming back trees and vegetation as well as clearing debis from the ground and digging holes if you are going to be planting “in-ground”. If you are going to be planting above ground, you may need to level the ground out for your soil-pots or planters that you will be using.

In addition, you will want to make sure that the location you choose needs to have a minimum of five (5) to six (6) hours of DIRECT sunlight each and every day. If your guerilla grow location is great other than the fact that there is limited lighting available to the plants then you can trim back trees and plants to increase the amount of light for your cannabis plants.

The five (5) – six (6) hours of the most prime daylight for plants is around mid-day. Also, if your garden on a hill-side (facing South in the Northern Hemisphere), it will help to capture much more of the required sunlight for strong and healthy growth.

One last consideration would be how windy your location is since this will affect your garden so choose an area with natural wind blocks or build them if needed.

Good Luck!
