Herb Boxx Review

If you are like me, you like to keep your smoking accessories organized and in a safe spot. The Herb Boxx seems like a classy solution We got the 5 x 7 Chocolate Caramel boxx, which has a faux-leather finish, for this review. The fake leather does feel nice and make this box seem “fancy” at first glance.

As you can see this boxx is quite different than others on the market. Due to its shape, it would probably blend in well on your bookshelf, though if trying to keep things discreet, you must use the provided baggies or jar for your stash. It does have a built in rolling surface which isn’t featured in the photos, but is in fact one of the nicest parts of this boxx. Sadly this feature was damaged on the model we got to review, with gouges out of the surface, so not sure what happened there? (Maybe the leprechauns broke out?) It also has a magnetic closure, to keep the boxx closed, which is nice, however it means you also may not want to put any digital items in it, as those expensive items are easily damaged by magnetism.

The boxx we received for review, was not set up as in the photos, it was missing all but one of the interior dividers, so I used photos from their website to show what the product should look like. As you can see with the dividers in place it gives you ways to divide up the boxx to fit your tools, which I wish mine was laid out like, as things just clunk around, which means none of my glass items are going in this boxx. As you can see they show the boxx propped up for “ease of use” yet propping the boxx in this manner means you cannot use the built in rolling surface.

Bottom Line: Though I think this box looks classy on the outside, due to the lack of dividers, its basically like putting my stuff in a cigar box, which I can usually get for free. At least the cigar boxes can handle humidifier packs, which I would not suggest as the leather look outside is only held on with glue. Overall I think this box is far too expensive for what it is at $50 for the larger one and $40 for the smaller model. And on that note I would also mention while looking for info for this review I found this gem from their blog:

“When smoking with a female, do not roll a blunt. Don’t get us wrong, when you are by yourself listening to Ghostface Killah’s “One” or Scarface’s “Mary Jane”, that would be great. You are probably wondering what to substitute for the blunt. HERBBOXX will tell you that later.”

Well I have some advice for Herb Boxx! Don’t offend your female audience, as I am sure many of us roll and smoke fatter blunts than you, while bumping Wu-Tang, and when you send out products for review please make sure they have the features shown on the website and aren’t missing parts or damaged!
