Jay-Z for Mayor 2009
MediaTakeOut dropped a pretty explosive rumor, if it’s true that is (they have been known to fuck up every now and then).
MTO – MediaTakeOut spoke with a prominent New York City politician who claims that Jay Z is contemplating running for mayor of New York City next year.
According to he politician, who asked to remain anonymous, Jay Z is “serious” about politics and is “strongly looking into” a 2009 Mayoral run.
The pol told MediaTakeOut, “[Jay Z] has discussed [running for mayor] with me and with others. I believe he’s serious about it.”
I love Jigga and even if he did this and lost (which he probably would), I would still love him for having the balls to go for it. Of course this has not been confirmed or anything but we can potentially have a black president, why not have a rapper as the mayor of our nations biggest city.
