K-Rod isn't backing down and I like it

Ok so I promised myself that I wouldn’t get too excited over the Mets this season because they have sorely disappointed me over the last couple of seasons.

However, it’s hard to not get excited about a little shit talking in the offseason though.

It started with the Shitlies Phillies ace Cole Hamels calling the Mets “choke artists” after their poor Septembers.

Newly acquired Fransisco Rodriguez had his own thoughts on the subject though…

“Of course, we’re going to try to win the division. Of course, we’re going to be the front-runner. Of course, we’re going to be the team to beat,” he said in a conference call from Venezuela. “I don’t want there to be a controversy or the other ballclubs in the division to take it personally or take it in a bad way.

“If they ask me which ballclub is going to win the National League East, it’s going to be the Mets. Easy question.”

That’s what I’m talkin about… Now lets not fuck up again guys. I don’t even want the Shitlies to make the playoffs next season.
