Marion Jones’s teammates stripped of their Medals: She’s probably safer in jail now
Yesterday the executive board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) ruled that the US track team from 2000 would be stripped of their medals because of Marion Jones’s admission that she used steroids.
The team won the gold in the 4×400 meters and bronze in the 4×100 and were not only stripped of their medals but they also were stripped of their dignity. I’m sure that the team was already not happy with the fact that Marion Jones used steroids but now that they found out that her doping is going to affect their medals, they are probably downright pissed.
Marion Jones is currently serving a 6 month bid in prison for perjury related to the steroids case and a check fraud scam. She is probably safer there because she can run fast, but her teammates can run fast too. If they caught her they’d probably give her a beatdown.
