Medical Marijuana Restrictions May Be Lifted By NJ Senate

New Jersey Senate to vote on rewrites for Governor Christie’s medical marijuana restrictions.

A story that we’ve been following very closely is the status of medical marijuana in the state of New Jersey. We last reported about the state’s plans to cap the THC levels in the buds to that of 10% or lower; which we discovered is generally 30% lower grade then ‘street marijuana’. Though a deal was formed on December 3rd, lawmakers in the Garden State say that the restrictions were not apart of the laws that were voted into existence. A vote is scheduled for Monday on the proposed regulations and what they actually will be.

21 votes would be needed on Monday to supersede the administration.
