Miguel Tejada tells Astros he’s actually 33, not 31
The Astros have had more than their share of headlines involving their new third basemen, Miguel Tejada. First he was named in the Mitchell Report for using steroids and now he admits that he is actually 33 not 31 like he is listed in Astros and MLB records. I doubt that the Astros had all of this in mind when they traded for Tejada.
Tejada, saying he wanted rid himself of a burden, approached general manager Ed Wade and asked to correct misinformation he gave the Oakland A’s when he signed in 1993, the Houston Chronicle reported on its Web site Thursday.
Well thats one confession down, only one more to go.
