Miguel Tejada has been waiting to be traded from the lowly Orioles for the last two seasons. He finally got his wish in a huge deal with the Astros. The Astros sent 5 players to the Orioles — outfielder Luke Scott, pitchers Matt Albers, Troy Patton and Dennis Sarfate, and third-base prospect Michael Costanzo.
The Yankees are the big winner in this deal. Despite Tejada’s decline in stats over the last few years he has killed the Yankees. Against the Yanks he has hit .305/.359/.457.
