Nothing on earth compares to a mothers love. That was certainly the case when Kelly Griffin, 46, tried hooking her son up with some weed while he was in the Lonoke County Detention Center. That’s pretty gangsta except for the fact that she got caught. Now she is facing charges of furnishing prohibited articles and possession of a controlled substance. BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
Lt. James Kulesa said Griffin dropped off several items for her son about noon Monday and then quickly left the facility. A detention officer searched the items and found a small amount of marijuana in a plastic bag that had been rolled up in shirt.
Investigators then went to Griffin’s Eastland Road home, arrested her and brought her back to the jail, this time as an inmate.
Mom was just trying to help her son out. They need to cut her some slack.
