Derrick Rose drives the lane in a St. Patrick’s Day edition of the Adidas adiZero Rose 1.5.

Derrick Rose leads the Chicago Bulls into the number 1 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 98-79 win over the Washington Wizards. Despite Chicago’s 31-19 lead in the 1st quarter, Washington closed the gap going into halftime, aided greatly by JaVale McGee’s 10 blocks in the first half, helping Washington come within four points with the game at 50-46 in favor of the Bulls.  High scorers of the game were Derrick Rose putting up 23 and Wizards-rookie Jordan Crawford with 27.  Note that 2011 Slam Dunk contestant JaVale McGee recorded a triple-double in the loss against the Bulls putting up 11 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 blocks, despite shooting 5 for 12 from the field; the late Manute Bol has the franchise record for blocks in a single game with 15.
