NBA Ref Donaghy gets 15 Month Bid
ESPN – Former NBA referee Tim Donaghy was sentenced to 15 months in prison Tuesday for setting off a gambling scandal that tarnished the league’s reputation and raised questions about the integrity of its officiating.
I think this is a pretty lenient sentence. He definitely should’ve gotten more time but of course since he cooperated he got less time.
When dudes start snitching you really can’t tell whats the truth and whats not. I hope he was lying about the NBA fixing games with the refs but I don’t know.
I’ll tell you one thing though, I’m still pissed about the Kings/Lakers game in 2002.
