NBA Wrap: Ginobili breaks out and leads Spurs to game 3 win

Lakers 84 – Spurs 103: It was only a matter of time before the struggling Manu Ginobili broke out of his slump and got back on track. In the first two games he struggled through injuries, frustration and plenty of missed shots but in game 3 he came back with 30 points to lead the Spurs to the 103-84 win.

Manu had help.  Tim Duncan finished the game with 22 points and 21 rebounds and Tony Parker also added 20 points.  When all three of those guys are on their job, it’s hard to beat the Spurs.

Kobe Bryant lead the way for the Lakers with 30 points and Paul Gasol contributed 15 points but it wasn’t enough.

The series is now 2-1 Lakers.  Game 4 will be a very important game for both teams and could determine the series.
