A new study by some of our scientist friends from the North shows how effective marijuana can be when used as a pain reliever. Basically what the study did was test how well various amounts of THC relieved the participant’s pain. A total of twenty one adults with post-surgery pain were involved in this study. Over the course of the testing the participants were randomly selected and given marijuana with THC potency levels ranging from 2.5 percent, 6 percent, and 9.4 percent while the control group was given a placebo. By the end of the study they came to a conclusion that those given higher amounts of THC felt less pain and were in fact able to sleep better. Which is something that any stoner could have told you.
