NJ patients can breath a sigh of relief as 6 yet-to-be-named organizations have been given the greenlight to set up shop in the Garden State. This comes VERY delayed as Jersey had legalized medical marijuana over a year ago, but better late then never for those suffering. Many put in applications to produce but several franchise companies didn’t even try citing the state’s restrictions as reason enough to not bother. All 6 organizations have been granted permission to both grow and distribute the cannabis. No word on the process of going about getting a MMJ card yet. Note that there will be 2 in North, Central, and South Jersey.
