Oakland May Have New Policy On Pot Farms

In November Tribute told you about a mass production of medical marijuana farms being started in Oakland. Well it was delayed in December after the D.A., Nancy O’Malley, questioned its legality. Council member Desley Brooks, has announced a new policy that would out O’Malley’s issues. The new policy will be introduced in about two weeks from now. If Public Safety Committee and the City Council smooths out the law it will allow for five large-scale farms and should double the amount of dispensaries in the area. Now that sounds like a great thing for the Oakland Greenies. We shall keep you posted if it goes through.
