Obama Says Pot Isn’t More Dangerous Than Alcohol

David Remnick interviewed President Obama about a whole lot of things. The one that stands out to us the most is obviously about marijuana. Remnick said Obama seemed even less eager to evolve with any dispatch when asked about the legalization of marijuana. Mr. President gave us a quote that made me smile.

“As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol.” - Obama

Obama stated "I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol". Thank you Obama, maybe this will open up people eyes that don't believe in legalizing.

It isn’t dangerous until your seller laces it with something like cocaine.

The lacing theory is stupid. Nobody is going to lace somebodies weed unless it’s personal. Drug dealers do not want to just waste money like that.

You might think it’s stupid, but there have been plenty of school kids tested for drugs while going through rehab that came back positive for cocaine. The kid’s never did cocaine (to their knowledge). Not sure where you are from. It happens all the time here in Tennessee.

I read the whole article. Obama said some other things about pot too. Like it isn’t very healthy (his words).

[Less dangerous , he said, ?in terms of its impact on the individual consumer. It?s not something I encourage, and I?ve told my daughters I think it?s a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy.?]
