Now that legalization in California in 2010 is beyond our reach, we must look to 2012 under the leadership of Ethan Nadelmann, Aaron Houston, Mason Tvert, Rick Doblin, Jorge Cervantes, Ed Rosenthal, Steve DeAngelo, Richard Lee, and leaders of the cannabis movement too numerous to mention further, to place a cannabis legalization initiative on the ballot in Colorado, California, Oregon, Washington, and possibly even Washington D.C., where medical marijuana won by a large margin of support and is set to be made available to patients through dispensaries in January 2011. We must come together, growers, trimmers, dispensary owners, patients, doctors, educators, cops and judges, and responsible recreational marijuana users to legalize marijuana in 2012 in a way which suits all of our wants and needs. We can do it, but only if we come together.
