Pennsylvania Lawmakers Push Medical Marijuana

Even with a hater Governor and veto more than likely, a group of Pennsylvania lawmakers are pushing a bill to allow access to medical marijuana.

The fact they are doing it on the basis of reason makes it even better. Sen. Daylin Leach had some great points when he spoke to The Daily News saying,

“We give people far more addictive drugs like Oxycodone and morphine, but God forbid if they use medical marijuana somehow civilization will come to an end. It’s just an irrational policy.”

Sounds like there is pretty good support for the matching bills in the house and senate when  it comes back to room chatter. As in many places lawmakers are not exactly lining up to jump on the issue in the public eye. Many states have marijuana bills entered repeatedly over the years in different sessions on the way to getting things done or to the ballot. This is for sure a great step for PA moving forward, and with 17 states looking at the issue we could see half the country be medical marijuana states in no time.
