Strain Review: Potlatch Ceremonial Bud #2 [Sativa]

If you’re looking for a strain that will put you close in touch to Native American roots, Potlatch Ceremonial Bud #2 is an excellent choice. Sourced from a tiny and personal shop known as Miller’s Marijuana in Elma, WA, this strain by Wild Bill’s Bad Ass Buds was dreamy, cerebral and experiential.

THC: 27.79%

Sight: Large, yellow-green nuggets with orange hairs; not very dense.

Smell: Sour and bright.

Taste: Sour and smooth. Light berry upon inhale.

High: A rushing, intense, cerebral, head-high. Fully experiential. Elevated senses.

Rating: 4.8 out of 5

A potlatch is a traditional feast of gift giving, which is celebrated by Pacific Coast Indians, many of which are in Washington state. To throw one shows status and honors reciprocity and a successful harvest season. The strain makes you feel in awe of the world around you and fully aware of the feelings of those around you.

The buds were berry flavored when smoked and the exhale tasted like that of sage. The experience felt like a ceremony, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Sit down, smoke a bowl and prepare to be humbled by its glory.
