I honestly didn’t even know this was going to be an issue but I should have known better than to think that Terrell Owens could keep his mouth shut for too long. After some comments made directly to him from former Dallas Cowboy Keyshawn Johnson on ESPN’s NFL sunday countdown. It’s interesting though because both of these guys are known to have big mouths.

Johnson made some good points about Terrell Owens. He commented on how much Owens has been critical of his former head coach Bill Parcels. Here is a summary from Awful Announcing:

Wow. Keyshawn makes a great point about previous coaches building their teams and the following coach taking them to Super Bowls in regards to Owens. He used himself in Tampa with Tony Dungy building the team but Gruden winning the Super Bowl, and the same analogy with Emmitt, Jimmy Johnson, and Switzer. This could actually be the case in Dallas this year. Good stuff.

Terrell Owens responded with these comments:

I’m probably the reason he’s in the booth now. He’s going to be a hater and throw me under the bus because he has to defend Bill. He won a Super Bowl and all, but you’d have to check the roster to know he was even on the team.

We came out in the same year. He was a first-rounder and I was a third. Go compare our stats. He couldn’t come down here now and be a third or fourth receiver on this team. Just compare our stats.

Wow… T.O. needs to shut up.
