The All Star Team Of Whack NBA Rappers
It’s inevitable. Celebrity Ballers want to be rappers and rappers want to be ballers. The problem is for the most part, people can’t crossover from one profession to the next and actually do it successfully. Most of the NBA players who attempt to rap actually turn out to be really whack and eventually end up on lists like this one.
Why do they even try to rap though?
You’d think that if you found a profession where you were pretty good and making millions of dollars already that you’d be satisfied right?
I know I would be. If I could sit around all day and blog and make millions, you would never see me trying to break into the corporate world but hey, you will never see me do that anyway.
Anyway, here is the All-Whack NBA Rapper team.
Tony Parker feat Jamie Foxx – L’effet Papillon
Tony is a great point guard for the San Antonio Spurs. He is French and married to one of the hotter actresses around in Eva Longoria. I bet the French accent helped him a lot in getting her but if she heard his rapping prior to their marriage, she would be with her rightful owner (me).
No to give Tony credit, I don’t speak French so I really don’t know what he is saying but I’ve asked around to French people and they say his album is trash. I really wasn’t expecting much anyway.
Jason Kidd – What The Kidd Did
Jason Kidd recently returned to the team he joined the NBA with but back in 1994 when J Kidd first joined the league he dropped this track. We’re glad there weren’t anymore tracks by the Kidd.
Gary Payton – Livin’ Legal And Large
If you would’ve just let me listen to this track and asked me who it was, there’s no way I would have guessed that it was Gary Payton. The track is really whack though so maybe that’s a good thing for GP. If anyone approaches him about it now he can just deny all allegations.
Ron Artest – Haters
When Ron Ron dropped his album, we all collectively laughed. When all 10 of the people who bought it, heard it, they laughed even harder at themselves for wasting their money. To give Ron credit though, this is probably the best track off the album. All I could find was the chopped and screwed version though. Oh well, enjoy.
Shaquille O’Neal – I Know I got Skillz
Shaquille O’Neal has been known to drop a lot of raps over the years but up until last years hit “Tell Me How My Ass Tastes”, no one really paid him any mind. Here is why.
There is your starting five of the All-Whack Squad. Coming off the bench is the 1982 Los Angeles Lakers. Here they are trying to encourage kids not to do drugs. I suggest you light up a fat blunt while you watch it just for spite. It makes this nonsense even more funny.
