The permits have been approved for Medical Cannabis Lobby Day

It’s official! The Madison Norml board members have announced that the Wisconsin State Capitol Police have approved the necessary permits for Medical Cannabis Lobby Day! The event will be held on Wednesday, January 16^th, 2013 at the Wisconsin State Capitol and will run from 10am to 4:30 pm. Members from the Wisconsin and Madison’s Norml chapters and the organization Is My Medicine Legal Yet (IMMLY), will have a fully staffed information table set up in the rotunda of the capitol building. They will be there to inform interested individuals of how to go about making contact with their state representatives.

This is an amazing occasion to voice your opinion on citizen’s rights and the freedom to use cannabis. If you are knowledgeable on the science of cannabis and have sound reasoning why it should be legalized and you are a Wisconsin resident, do the rest of the cannabis nation a solid and take advantage of this opportunity. Thanks to all the organizations involved for systematizing this event. They are anticipating a fantastic turnout and notable results. Rock on, Wisconsin! Once again, Erik, an excellent, timely blog! It is becoming obvious to me that there are many more arguments for the legalization of pot than the continuation of the status quo. It is not realized how unfair pot arrests have fed the corruption of our local courts; also how it has unfaily targeted minorities; how it has created an insane industrial prison complex feeding political greed at each stage of the process! In fact, What about this nonsensical anti-human, immoral legal structure construct is not to be compared to the witchcraft craze that swept Europe for four centuries? Sheer inhumanity!
