Tiger Woods has arthroscopic knee surgery
Tiger Woods had arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday to repair damaged cartilage and will be out of action for about a month. The surgery was announced on Woods’ website and because of this he will most likely miss the Players Championship but he should be back in time for the US open.
According to his agent, Woods has been experiencing pain in his knee since the middle of last year. This means that not only did he play hurt but he played some of the best golf of his career hurt, thats scary.
Woods gave no indication that his knee had been bothering him at all this season as he proceeded to win his first four tournaments of the season and continued to make his competition look foolish.
Everyone else on the tour needs to go ahead and get whatever wins they can get now cuz it’s not goin down when Woods gets back.
