Tim Pawlenty Withdraws Presidential Candidacy And MMJ Patients Rejoice

With many of the Ames Poll votes going to fellow Minnesota Republican Michele Bachmann, Tim Pawlenty withdrew from his presidential campaign. For those not familiar with Pawlenty he is a former governor of Minnesota who was seeking out nomination from the Republican to run against Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential elections. What exactly does this mean for medical marijuana patients? Pawlenty was very against cannabis who, during his term as governor, vetoed nine medical marijuana bills that were passed by Minnesota lawmakers including one which only permitted MMJ use for terminally ill patients. Despite getting an early jump by starting his campaign shortly after President Obama took office in 2008 he failed to raise the monetary necessities it takes to fund a campaign. I guess he forgot that medical marijuana patients have money too.
