With a little over one million pounds of legal bud in the US, there are very few reports showing that America went to hell because of cannabis consumption. In fact, there is evidence to support the exact opposite of that. Workplace injuries and sicknesses are down in EVERY medical marijuana state. And except for Rhode Island, the number of highway fatalities a year dropped in the 17 districts that have medical marijuana laws. California’s NORML director Dale Gieringer has estimated that almost 2-3 percent of the state of California’s population are medical marijuana patients.
Note: In the United States, medical marijuana is said to be a $2-6 billion dollar-a-year business.
