I know not many are hockey fans, specially in the southern states of the U.S. But it is killing me with no hockey. Let me phrase that better. It is killing just about every single person in Michigan and Canada, of course, including myself. As a Michigander, we don’t have many great sports moments. Tigers are good (for the time being), Pistons are trash and don’t even get me started  on the Lions. But one thing we as Michigan sports fans have always been able to count on was the Detroit Red Wings. For 21 seasons straight, the Wings have made it to the playoffs. We need to make it 22, and we can’t do that with this fool of a commissioner named Gary Bettman. He is boo’d every time he walks onto to the ice. Take the hint.

But there is still hope. Not much, but there is is still a little bit. We already went through a full year lockout back 2005 and that was tough. Hopefully they are back in business like Bettman thinks they will on January 11. If they aren’t, they will never be able to take it away from us though. Nike put together a video showing just that. Every other league will go on while we watch the NHL slowly die. :’(
