Weed Is Pretty Easy For Kids To Get [Graphic]
Here is an awesome infographic that I found over at Oregon NORML’s site. It shows statistics from students surveyed in different grades on how easy it is for them to get marijuana. These stats do not surprise me one bit. I was offered weed for the first time in middle school but I didn’t end up smoking until after high school. I don’t really condone high school smoking weed but they do. It’s a reality. The current policies on smoking weed are not preventing any underage kids from getting it. It’s not exactly impossible for kids to get alcohol but it’s definitely a hell of a lot harder to get that from a store than it is for you to get weed from one of your classmates who has it for sale.

I just graduated High School here in Colorado. And since Colorado is one of the biggest stoner states and has legalized medical bud, and not to mention all you need to do to get a card is pay 250 to some doctor, its incredibly easy to get bud. Since most kids (seniors) have a card and willing to pick up a sack for you at the dispensory. It's so easy. I expect those numbers to rise as more states legalize med bud,

I've read and seen on TV multiple interviews with kids saying not just weed but drugs in general are easier to get than alcohol. One interview in particular noted that many of the kids interviewed said getting prescription drugs such as adderall, ritalin and various painkillers were most easy to obtain.

There needs to be another choice for they are all easy to get for kids. In highschool, i never had a problem getting my hands on any of that stuff. Every one of my friends had an older brother/sister who would go buy beer for us, and a dude in our crew sold weed. I only tried it once in HS, and didn't really start smoking until I left for college.

how can weed be easier when cigarettes and alcohol are in the kids homes? anyone saying different is lost, give your head a shake.
