Winning the World Series can be detrimental to your city
So as you probably know the Phillies are World series champs.
It seems like now more than ever though, people who live in cities where they win championships don’t do anything but destroy the city. I.E. the picture above of an overturned vehicle in Philly after their championship (via Deadspin).
Philadelphia is no exception, in fact despite the fact that no one outside of Philly and some parts of Florida even watched the world series, those rabid Philadelphians still took things to a whole new level. Check out this video if you don’t believe me.
A little bit of alcohol may have been involved in all of this, just a guess.
Congrats to the Phillies (even though they suck and fuck them). You can cop some Phillies World Series gear on eBay right now, if you are one of the few people who happen to like them.
