Wisdom Wednesdays: How to harvest your bud
What’s good Greenies and welcome to another insightful Wisdom Wednesday from me, ThisBuds4You. This week we’re going to learn how to harvest our newly grown bud, trim it and dry it. This is the most exciting part about growing Greenies (next to smoking that shit of course!). It is also the most labor intensive part of growing. Trimming lots of bud is a big ass job, be sure to set aside the right amount of time to do the job. It typically takes 1 person 1 hour to trim 1 ounce of bud (1 ounce after it’s been dried). Buds usually lose 80-85% of their weight during the drying period. Be sure to dry in a cool, dark place around 70-78 degrees F. The relative humidity in the area should be between 40-50%. Make sure that there is air flowing or being stirred up in your drying area, but DO NOT put a fan directly on your drying buds! Once the buds have dried, check out my post on Curing, but for now, let’s harvest!
Keep it green Greenies and OVERGROW THE WORLD!!!
