Yankees destroys Virginia Tech: It’s the thought that counts

Yesterday the Yankees honored those who were slain at Virginia Tech last year during the shooting by playing a game against the Virginia Tech baseball team. When I first heard about this I was like wow. Thats a really good thing they are doing.
My only problem with the game was that the Yankees didn’t go easy on them at all. Now admitedly I don’t know much about college baseball but as far as I am aware, the Virginia Tech baseball team isn’t that good. Correct me if I’m wrong.
So anyway, the Yankees destroyed these guys 11-0 in seven innings. It’s a good thing they didn’t play the whole thing because it probably would’ve been worse. Way to add insult to injury guys, lol, they could’ve at least let them score a few runs. Maybe the $1 million dollor contribution they made before the game will make up for it.

virginia tech might not be one of college baseball’s top program but they held their own. they were up against THE NEW YORK YANKEES, one of the world’s top franchise’s. the yankees were there to have fun and to teach the youngsters, how many college teams can say they played a game against a pro-team? none at all. so losing 11-0 is not a big deal, after all wouldnt you if you were playing for the vt team wanted the yankees to go all out instead of holding back?i feel they took more from that experience than you and me might know. big props to the new york yankees thou, not a yankee fan but that made me respect them a tad bit. so yea maybe its time for you to start watching some college baseball before giving your opinion, it might help you understand the way the game is played because college baseball and the mlb baseball are played completely different. so yea. thanx

LoL. Thanks for the comment anonymous. First of all, I think it was great that they did it. Secondly, you won’t catch me watching college baseball at all, unless it’s the college world series. Third, I played baseball for 4 years so I understand the way the game is played and I will give MY opinion on MY website anytime I want. If you don’t like it, your welcome to lick my nuts
