How to Purchase Weed From an Oregon Marijuana Dispensary

As long as you are 21 years or older, you can legally purchase weed from a licensed marijuana dispensary in Oregon.

To purchase weed in Oregon:

  1. Visit a licensed weed dispensary.
  2. Present your license or state I.D to verify you’re of legal age at check out. If you are purchasing medical marijuana, be sure to have your OMMP card to present as well.
  3. Make sure you do not exceed the purchase limit.

  • Up to 1 ounce of cannabis flower
  • Up to 16 ounces of solid weed products
  • Up to 72 ounces of liquid weed products
  • Up to 5 grams of concentrates
  • Up to 5 grams of weed product intended for smoking or vaping
  • Up to 4 immature plants
  • Up to 10 seeds

The maximum limit of THC allowed in weed products are: 

  • Up to 50 milligrams of THC per edible product
  • Up to 6% THC in topicals
  • Up to 1 gram of THC in tinctures
  • Up to 1 gram of THC in extracts

Purchase Limits for Medical Marijuana

Medical marijuana patients can purchase the following amounts of weed at a given time: 

  • Up to 24 ounces of cannabis flower
  • Up to 16 ounces of solid weed products
  • Up to 72 ounces of liquid weed products
  • Up to 16 ounces of concentrates
  • Up to 5 grams of extract
  • Up to 4 immature plants
  • Up to 50 seeds

The maximum limit of THC allowed in medical marijuana products are:

  • Up to 100 milligrams of THC per edible
  • Up to 6% THC in topicals
  • Up to 4 grams of THC in tinctures
  • Up to 4 grams of THC in capsules
  • Up to 4 grams of THC in extracts
