Haze Technologies is a well-known brand for innovating in the vaporizers market. First, the Haze Dual hit the market as the first vaporizer with two separate chambers; and now, this American brand has launched another original product never seen before with 4 different chambers.
The Haze Square is a major device because is the first and only vaporizer with four chambers. This vaporizer has an advanced convection system with an on demand heating style that allows you to vape a great variety of materials, being the perfect product for those who like to mix and match materials with a premium device.

There are two versions available, the standard version and the pro version, and we have tried the pro version. It must said that there are few differences between these two vaporizers: the pro version has a wider temperature range, it has a PC app to customize some of the settings of the device and it comes with the C-USB charger which allows you to charge the vaporizer in less time.

The Haze Square Design
Despite it has 4 chambers, the Haze Square is a handy vaporizer that fits in the palm of your hand. It’s a convenient device that only weighs 1,75 lbs and its dimensions are: 8.35in tall, 7in wide and 1.75in deep with, like its name suggests, a square shape that makes it look different and we have to admit that we like it.
This four chamber unit is made out of high quality materials with no plastic parts. Its solid aluminium body gives an amazing look and feel to the device, as well as an impact protection. On the inside, its stainless steel lids, ceramic chamber and black aluminum mouthpiece don’t make any taste or odor to the vapor produced, ensuring a good quality vaping.
In terms of design, it has a minimalistic design with only three buttons and a black matte finish. It doesn’t look like a vaporizer and the fact that its mouthpiece can be removed and saved in the device, makes easier to protect it from breaking.
Heating and vapor quality
Those who don’t like to wait will love its heating system, because it takes about nothing to heat up, going from room-temperature to 320ºF in only 3 seconds with its on demand style of heating, it reminds us in some way to the Firefly 2. You can choose between 5 preset temperatures, that you can customize in the pro version using the app.
The best thing of the Haze Square is having 4 full chambers ready to go. You don’t have to care about filling the chambers outside or carry more herb or concentrates to have another session, you can pre-fill every chamber at home and enjoy it for the rest of the day. Furthermore, you can load the chambers in whichever material combination you want to vape: dry herb, liquids and concentrates.
The Haze Square is a convection vaporizer, so it provides a tasty and smooth vapor. We don’t need to grind the herbs extremely fine neither pack them tight in order to help the hot air flow between them. We have to admit that if you’re not used to an on demand heating vaporizer you’ll have to get used to it cause you need to press and hold the button with slow draws. It’s also an on demand device, so maybe it can take a little time to get used to it if you’ve never used this type of vaporizers.
How to use it
It may seem complicated but using this vaporizer is quite simple once you get used to loading the chambers and its on demand heating
To fill the chambers, you have to open it by rotating the lock switch that you’ll find on the back of the device by rotating it until the middle line is horizontal. Then, you will be able to remove the cover where you’ll find the four chambers.
You can fill the pods by combining the materials in the way you want: 4 dry, 4 concentrates, 2 and 2 or 1 and 3, combine THC and CBD, different strains or whatever you want. Despite being an on demand vaporizer, the capacity of the pods (0.25 grams) allows you to put a good amount of herb on them.
After loading the chambers you have to place the cover and lock it again to make sure it won’t open while vaping. Lastly, take the mouthpiece from the side and insert it on the top of the device.
To power on the Haze Square you have to press the power button three times. As we said before, it’s an on demand heat vaporizer which means you have to hold down the button while using it.
In order to select the desired temperature, you only have to press the “+” and “-” buttons located on the top of the device next to the mouthpiece. Its 5 preset temperatures are: 335, 355, 365, 380 and 410 °F. The power button light will show you the temperature going from blue to red: the blue color tones represent the lower temperatures and the red ones represent the high temperatures. Like the preset temperatures, you can change as well the temperature colors with the PC app.
When the Haze Square reaches the desired temperature, it will vibrate and the light will light fix letting you know that it’s ready to start your vaping session.
If you want to change the chambers while vaping, you only have to twist the cover to align the chamber with the heating symbol located to the top left corner of the vaporizer.
The Haze Square Computer App
The Computer App of the Haze Square is only available for the Square Pro device. It’s a computer app available for both iOs and Windows 10 and it allows you to change some of the settings of this device like: creating custom temperature presets and their color designations, or customizing the physical feedback (LED colors and vibration notification).
Haze Square Battery Life
It has a good battery life that lasts about 2 hours. It’s perfect for using the 4 chambers without the needed of charging it in a day outside. Also, it is good to mention that the Pro version only takes 40 minutes to fully charge from dead battery thanks to the the USB-C.type connector.
The Haze Square is the only USB-C device on the market right now, and this way of charge has some good advantages. But if you don’t have the pro version, don’t worry, you can also charge it with the micro-USB connector.
How to clean Haze Square
What we like in here is that the chambers that contained the vaped material are removable, making the cleaning part much easier, you just have to take the chambers out, brush them and ready to go.
Since this vap has got a significant number of movable parts we need to make sure that we’re cleaning everything putting special attention on joints and mechanisms to prevent them to stick to each other.
It’ doesn’t require to do a deep cleaning frequently, but it is interesting to do one after about 10 – 15 sessions, in order to do it, you only have to take out all the removable parts of the vaporizer and soak them in Isopropyl Alcohol. To clean the silicone parts, you can use the Haze Organic Cleaning Solution that can be purchased from the Haze online store.
It must be said that It will be so much easier to clean and to put back all the parts with the Easy Load/ Deep Cleaning Tray. This tool makes easy to replace the removable parts because with it you don’t have to put the parts one by one.
Final thoughts, Should you buy the Haze Square vaporizer?
After 4 years of research, we have to say that Haze Technologies’ latest release has exceeded our expectations. A compact and versatile vaporizer 4 in 1 that allows us to enjoy the best materials at an affordable price.
Some of the cons of this great device can be the lack of bluetooth connectivity to pitr it with a smartphone app, and the lack of an LCD screen to help us fully customize the temperatures.
Even though it has some minor cons, we have to say that is a very good vaporizer for its price. It’s perfect for those who want something different and unique and want to enjoy all types of materials without the need of having more vaporizers.
I wouldn’t wish one of these on my worst enemy. It’s a piece of garbage. I bought one, tried it and found it didn’t burn properly in any of the bowls, NOT A SINGLE ONE WORKED RIGHT.
When I complained and even sent photos of the partially burned contents, they denied there was a problem and even gave me a rash of shit about it. Their customer service was as poor as the unit. I wouldn’t buy Haze product.
